Dolomites Dirndl Ski Day
A fun event for women will take place on 08 March 2026, on the occasion of International Women's Day. Part of the registration fee will be donated to "Gea" a social cooperative, which works against violence against women.

We celebrate the Women’s Day on the 8th of March 2026 by hosting an exciting and colourful sport event. The Women’s parallel slalom will see all participants wear a ‘dirndl’ (a traditional South Tyrolean dress). Participants will meet at the Baita Sanon on the Alpe di Siusi at 9.30 a.m. where they start off with an aperitif with DJ Simon. After that there will be a parallel slalom and a dice game at the finish line right at the slope next to the Baita Sanon. The prize giving ceremony will take place at 2.30 p.m. The race is open exclusively to women competing as a pair (friends, sisters, mother/daughter, etc.) between the ages of 18 and 99.

Register at the Ortisei Tourist Office or at Seiser Alm Marketing for € 70,00 (for 2 people, which includes a nice race hamper and an aperitif at the Baita Sanon). Maximum number of participants: 50 teams. Furthermore, Charity-Teams can also register for € 150,00 per team. Part of the regular fee and all of the Charity-Teams fee will be donated to "Gea".
